EMDR and trauma therapies
Whilst all of our work is trauma-informed, we also offer evidence-based, trauma-focussed therapies to help children, adolescents and adults process and recover from both single episode traumatic experiences and complex trauma.

EMDR
One effective treatment for trauma is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is a psychotherapy approach that helps individuals reprocess traumatic memories in a safe and structured environment. It involves a series of guided eye movements, sounds, or taps, that help the individual process the traumatic memory in a new and more adaptive way. EMDR can be used to treat a wide range of traumas, including childhood abuse, domestic violence, car accidents, and medical trauma. Dr Daniel Glazer is an Accredited EMDR Practitioner registered with EMDR UK.

Additional trauma therapies
In addition to EMDR, we offer other therapies to help individuals heal from trauma, including narrative therapy, narrative-exposure therapy, cognitive therapy, and internal family systems (IFS). As with all our work, these therapies are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child or adult, and are delivered in a safe, supportive, and confidential environment. Our aim is to help you process your trauma, re-strengthen your capacity to move forward and help you achieve your preferred futures.
