Dr Daniel Glazer
Consultant Clinical Psychologist
I am a Clinical Psychologist holding professional registration with the Health Care Professions Council and Chartered membership with the British Psychological Society. I am also an Accredited EMDR Practitioner registered with EMDR UK.
I have over 15 years experience providing psychological assessment, consultation and therapy with adults, children, couples and families. Alongside my private practice, I am Clinical Lead and a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at University College London Hospital. As part of this role, I specialise in working with trauma, grief, loss, anxiety and mood issues within the context of medical conditions such as cancer, diabetes & chronic pain.
I am trained in a range of psychological approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) and relational therapies. I am also very interested in existential psychotherapy having worked with people who are dying and those that are affected by mortality awareness.
I don’t believe in a one size fits all approach and I readily focus on each individual’s unique journey, context and ideas. To quote the grandfather of psychotherapy:
“I believe that a different therapy must be constructed for each patient because each has a unique story.” Irvin D. Yalom
I am registered with most major insurers including AXA PPP, Cigna, Vitality and Avivia. I welcome discussions in the first instance on what sort of support you might be looking for.
Dr Gail Sinitsky
I am a Counselling Psychologist, registered with the Health Care Professions Council and chartered with the British Psychological Society. My passion lies in promoting the emotional and psychological well-being of children and young people and I have worked extensively in this field for over 15 years, in various settings including charities, NHS CAMHS services, and schools. I founded Young & Mighty in 2020, a social business that aims to pro-actively nurture mental health through resources and workshops.
At Spring Psychology, I provide therapy to children, young people and families, who are experiencing a range of challenges including post-traumatic symptoms, low mood and anxiety, low self-esteem, school-based anxiety, and relational difficulties. I also work with children and young people diagnosed with ASC, ADHD and other neuro-developmental conditions.
My therapeutic approach is informed by a number of therapy models including cognitive-behavioural, systemic, narrative and solution-focussed therapies. I also draw on creative modalities of arts, drama and play. The extent to which I use these models depends largely on the child and their family and on what makes sense for them and their therapeutic goals. I am also trained in Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) for complex trauma and have a special interest in supporting children and carers following experiences of abuse, domestic violence, and other forms of trauma including bullying.
I am very passionate about working in partnership with children and their families and I welcome you to contact me to find out more about how I work and to arrange an initial consultation.
