Therapy groups for children and adolescents
Therapy groups for children and adolescents in North London
Our therapeutic groups service is led by Dr Gail Sinitsky, who has a specialist passion for bringing children together and providing a therapeutic group space to increase self-esteem, gain a better understanding of self, and overcome difficulties. She has over 15 years experience of running therapy groups and workshops, in schools and in CAMHS. Groups can be delivered in schools and in the community. We aim to keep our groups small in number and we provide a range of arts and play materials, ensuring that our programmes are safe, interactive and effective. Some of the groups we provide include:
A therapy programme for children in Years 3 - 6 (grouped according to age) aimed at building self-esteem, developing emotional regulation, strengthening social skills and peer relationships, and negotiating challenges.
A therapeutic group for pre-teen and teenagers aimed at supporting those who are experiencing anxiety.
A small-group, 10 week therapy programme for Reception – Year 2 aimed at developing and strengthening emotion literacy and self-esteem in young children.
A group programme providing a safe, nurturing space for children in Year 6 to explore themes relevant to this period of transition, including social media and technology, peer relationships, identity and transition to secondary.
A group exploring a series of themes per session, including friendships, difference, conflict and kindness. This can be adapted for Reception - Year 6 and is particularly well-suited for being delivered in-school.
Please get in touch if you are a school, parent or young person who would like more information about our groups.
